Supervised by Dr. Laura Hazen. I have had the privileged to work with a diverse patient population. My favorite thing to see in a patient is a desire to get well and have a fulfilling life. If that inner drive is there, at Journey, we can help you. It is such a joy to see people come from difficult situations, a slew of other providers with a medicine list a mile long and learn how to become empowered over their life again. I believe all perceived mistakes are attempted solutions that need more education. I teach people to go from a space of helplessness and shaming to pride and awareness. At Journey we are an integrative psychiatry practice that specializes in CBT, DBT, spiritual coaching, and healthy living. We use traditional medication when appropriate but my goal is “as little as possible and as much as necissary.” We believe in using natural resources to improve quality of life and look to heal mind, body, and spirit.
