When unexpected events happen in life many people turn to negative ways of coping with stress, anger, or anxiety. Finding help can be a difficult process. I hope that as your therapist we can work together on exploring how to best address your stressors, symptoms and concerns. I tailor my approach to my patient’s needs in order to help provide the tools and guidance to manage negative feelings, emotions, or impulses in more positive and productive ways. I have over 20 years of experience working with youth, adults, and older adults in individual counseling, family therapy and couples counseling. My areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, working with at-risk youth and their families and health and rehabilitative psychology. I hope that I can be of assistance to you during your time of need. I am culturally aware and am fluent in Spanish. I make an effort to accommodate ideal appointment times for my patients.
