Therapist Overview

Our private practice is unlike most others. I am a pre-licensed clinical fellow at The Briggs Institute. Therapists at the Institute are graduates of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Lipscomb University, which holds its graduates to a much higher standard of clinical experience than the state requires, one that is far greater than other high quality masters programs in Nashville. Because we practice under the supervision of core Lipscomb faculty, we remain connected to academia. This means our work is informed by state-of-the-art scientific research that most private practice therapists can’t easily access. I provide high-quality relationship and mental health care services at a price that is well below that of many other therapists ($60-$95 per session). I can do this because I work under supervisors at the Institute, and I don’t have to meet the same overhead costs as other therapists.
