Therapist Overview
Hello! I am so grateful you’re here. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS). I’ve been working in this field for over 10 years and have a heart for helping people through life’s challenges. I have found that, when we learn to give ourselves grace, things change. Life feels lighter and we feel more capable of moving through it. I center my practice on the principles of Positive Psychology, focusing on what is right with a person rather than what is wrong with them. I believe that hope and joy are catalysts for change. For kids, I use expressive therapy, combined with Behavior and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to create a fun and dynamic experience, providing healing through the use of imagination and expression. For adults, I use a more eclectic approach incorporating Person-Centered therapy, Mindfulness, and Strength-Based approaches. I view our therapeutic relationship as a privilege. There is no judgement, no set expectations. Just grace for where you are and where you’re going. I strive to meet you where you are with love and understanding; help you grow, both mentally and spiritually; nurture your spirit and your soul; and help you recognize your strength and power to change.
