Therapist Overview

Though vulnerability is often uncomfortable, nothing is as painful as feeling disconnected from the life you want to lead. I am a Certified Daring Way Facilitator and often integrate Brene Brown’s work on shame-resiliency, vulnerability, belonging, self-compassion, and courage into therapy sessions. I am also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and have significant experience helping individuals and families work toward recovery from an eating disorder (and related issues). I believe that clients make significant change when they understand what led to the development of their problems and the factors that maintain current symptoms. I use an array of tools, including expressive therapies, mindfulness, and cognitive therapies to individualize care and help clients meet their goals.
