Therapist Overview
***NOW USING TELEHEALTH SERVICES DUE TO COVID-19*** “You are worth the quiet moment. You are worth the deeper breath. You are worth the time it takes to slow down, be still, and rest.” (-Morgan Harper Nichols) I am passionate about sitting in the metaphorical darkness with clients, whether that is grief, trauma, depression, suicidal thoughts, self harm, or questioning about identity. I am passionate about holding space to explore whatever struggles you may bring into the room. All genders, races, and sexual orientations are welcome. I am currently seeing clients from ages 4+, with a focus on emerging adults, ages 17-29. I am fulled by creativity and authenticity. Existential questioning, identity exploration, expressive arts, play therapy, and authentic encounters are a few of the ways we may work together. Every client is unique, and I am fascinated and intrigued by hearing their stories. The relationship between a client and their counselor is a sacred one that involves insight, work, and compassion. Wherever we meet on your journey, I’m grateful for our time together. I am currently working at National Counseling Group in Harrisonburg and Staunton.
