Therapist Overview
While I believe that all of us have the strength to overcome our own struggles, I also believe that therapy makes that process easier. With professional help, you can overcome issues with less time, less strain on your relationships, and less impact on your overall well-being. I personally and professionally, believe in the power of this process, and look forward to meeting you where you are to face your struggles together. In my time in university counseling centers across southern California, I have worked with adolescents and adults struggling with trauma, grief, identity development, and depression/anxiety. As a 2nd generation Korean-American, I also have a heart for acculturation and cultural identity issues. My theoretical orientation integrates family systems and interpersonal therapy. I provide a free initial phone consultation, where we’ll discuss if I am a good fit to provide you what you need.
