I am a I .5 generation Korean-American Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I am perfectly fluent in both English and Korean. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago. My MA Degree in Marriage and Family therapy was obtained at HIS University, where I am now currently a Ph.D. Candidate. Like many others who were raised by 1st generation immigrants in America, I had a difficult time adjusting to life in a foreign country. with parents who also struggled greatly to find their way away from home. Therefore, I am very familiar with the pain and issues that those with similar backgrounds faced. I am a specialist in child and adolescent counseling. I have a natural ability to relate to children and adolescents. I feel very comfortable counseling youths and tend to develop rapport with them quickly, as I also have three children of my own.
