Therapist Overview

I aim to create a safe, warm, empathetic space to help clients work through life’s struggles. I believe that it is important to not only identify areas of growth in therapy but to also identify areas of strength; this is especially important with children and adolescents. I take a collaborative and systemic approach when working with youth; my belief is that including all parts of the child’s life are important for healing. I believe in the power of expressive tools, activities, and play therapy because not all children and adolescents enjoy or are able to engage in talk therapy. I will go at the patient’s pace while also challenging someone when needed. I am of the opinion that, “courage does not always roar. I earned my doctor of psychology (PsyD) from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in Child
