Therapist Overview
Currently my practice is full. I offer individual telehealth therapy for adults (18+) who are motivated to change their lives. I view individuals as part of a system and the mind/body as an integrated whole. While providing a supportive presence, I work with clients in a shared partnership where healing and transformation are encouraged. My style is warm, compassionate, and yet direct. I work from a variety of evidence-based models including CBT, ACT, DBT and Mindfulness (MBSR and MSC). I teach practical skills that are effective in changing thoughts and behaviors, helping you transform your life in positive ways. I received a Masters in Social Work from Portland State University and have experience in residential, medical, and outpatient settings. I am a certified HeartMath Interventions Practitioner. I have also completed the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Teacher Training and am in the process of certification through UCSD.
