Therapist Overview
As a licensed therapist my goal is to make the counseling process one of comfort and growth. I understand that it isn’t easy to make change, and it can be both difficult and painful to address an issue that is truly weighing you down. I believe in a holistic approach to counseling and am also trained in many evidence based techniques. I offer evening hours in addition to Saturday. I listen impartially and non-judgmentally to each person’s story; and then I work in collaboration with my clients to help them begin their own personal healing process. I believe each person has many strengths, and together we can build on those and bring them to the surface. I specialize in grief, anxiety and handling of a recent diagnosis. Receiving a diagnosis is an emotional rollercoaster for not only the individual directly affected, but also their loved ones. It is my goal to help you work through the different stages and natural feelings that occur during this time.
