Entering therapy is a vulnerable step for the individuals and couples I work with, which is why I believe it’s important to bring both warmth AND knowledge to this process of change. While I see individuals with a large number of presenting issues, I have a strong background in working with new parents who are looking to find balance and cope with new identity shifts/demands. I utilize extensive training women’s reproductive mental health and perinatal mood disorders to work with mothers and families transitioning to parenthood. I often use activities and interactive feedback in sessions so clients can experience skills on a deeper level. I am also trained in EMDR to support the process of healing from trauma (past or recent).
