I take it as axiomatic that each person is a complex web of experiences, desires, fears, joys, strengths, and weaknesses forged in one’s unique history, biology, and current life circumstances. This means that each individual’s road to mental health is particular to them and lies within them; of course, finding this road is easier said than done. It is my deep honor to work alongside my clients on their personal journey, helping them arrive at the life they want to live. I specialize in anxiety, depression/mood, and trauma. My therapeutic method follows an Existential understanding of the person, utilizing a blend of Person-Centered, Gestalt, Jungian and Somatic Psychology approaches. I am also trained in EMDR for trauma and addiction related disorders, and, when appropriate, I employ Jungian based Sandplay therapy.
