Therapist Overview
If you’re struggling with painful relationships, grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, self-harm, or addiction in one of its many forms, I’ve helped many clients in your situation rebuild their sense of stability and self-confidence. My clients describe me as a calming presence who provides empathy, humor, and skills that give results. Most of my clients come in with emotions that feel overwhelming and, with therapy support, find that they can master new strategies, reduce the frequency of therapy, and then “graduate” to sessions scheduled as needed. I completed my Dialectical Behavior Therapy certification in 2016. My stance as a feminist, queer woman, and actor all support my empowering approach. I’m authentic, creative, and love a good pun. In my spare time, I enjoy crafting mildly offensive fiber arts, playing video games, going to see theater, performing in shows, and binge-watching Netflix. Feel free to reach out or schedule online with me if you’re tired of feeling lost or stuck.
