I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience in counseling couples, college and graduate students, millennials, and young professionals. I received my Master’s degree in Counseling from St. Edward’s University and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University-College Station. Throughout my training I have worked with a variety of populations and mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, perfectionism/people pleasing, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, self esteem, shame, relationship issues, and relationship building/enrichment. My therapeutic approach values a strong therapeutic relationship. I use a collaborative approach that is influenced most by Interpersonal Neurobiology, the work from the “Daring Way” by Brene Brown, Trauma Informed Care, Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
