I work with adults & adolescents who feel overwhelmed, have relationship problems, or struggle with aspects of their sexuality. I also help individuals who experience painful life events (or trauma) and find it difficult to heal, move forward, and feel like themselves. When we turn away from distressing emotions and try to ignore them, it can wreck havoc on our lives, cause more pain/grief and lead to feelings of hopeless. Together we will explore how past experiences and the beliefs you continue to tell yourself may be keeping you stuck. You will learn ways to actively cope with stress, share your needs, and improve you well-being. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist and understand the complexities of trauma work and how to heal at your own pace. I’ve also received advanced training in problematic sexual behaviors and know the devastating toll these patterns can have on feelings of self-worth and your romantic relationship.
