Therapist Overview
Seeking therapy is an important step towards a significant life change. By acknowledging that change needs to happen, you are already making progress. My name is Eliza and I have been working as a licensed therapist since 2016 in Austin, TX. As your therapist, you can expect a communicative, flexible, and genuine approach. Although therapy is my work, I take real interest in each of my clients’ personal journeys that has brought them to where they are today. I commonly work with my clients on challenges related to depression, anxiety, bipolar symptoms, family, relationship, career stress, addiction, and grief and loss. In our sessions, I provide support as we work through understanding the ins and outs of challenges. I often use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based therapy, family systems therapy, and MBTI related therapy. Which approach I use most will depend on your needs and goals in therapy. There are many ways we can achieve your therapy goals together. When you are ready, feel free to reach out at (512) 578-8070 or send me an email at [email protected]. Currently, I prefer to see my clients via teletherapy (voice or video call) due to covid restrictions. Learn more at: http://austinmindfulness.org/telehealth.html
