Therapist Overview
There are moments in life where we find ourselves feeling disoriented and in need of extra help. Whether it is a major life transition such as starting out on your own, getting married, losing a loved one, or becoming a parent, I work to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings and to find their unique path forward. I am passionate about helping clients recognize the beauty and potential of their own authentic self. As a therapist, I believe that every person has the innate ability to grow and heal, to transform even the deepest pain and sorrow into healing and hope. I approach therapy from a client-centered, trauma-informed, and psychodynamic background. I have typically worked with adolescents and adults in individual therapy in the areas of grief/loss, depression, anxiety, identity development, and establishing healthy boundaries and self-care. I incorporate mindfulness and creative expression if interested. I am available exclusively during evenings and weekends for teletherapy, or online therapy. I use HIPAA compliant software and simply send you a link. All you need is access to a phone or computer with video, microphone, and audio. Research has shown that teletherapy has the same results as in-person therapy! Feel free to email me with any questions.
