It can be stressful, overwhelming, and at worst, paralyzing. If you’re reading this, you’re probably looking for help with some kind of change that’s got you stuck. I’ve been there. After more than a decade as a broadcast journalist and television producer – training, supervising, and mentoring young adults in fast-paced environments – I decided to make my own major change and make helping others the focus of my daily work. Since my career shift, I’ve worked with adolescents and young adults (and their families) to help them navigate through the stressors of the early onset of severe mental illness.
