Dianah’s primary therapeutic modality is narrative therapy, and she integrates the principles and practice of mindful self-compassion in her counseling. Dianah is also an EMDRIA trained practitioner of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), working with clients who currently have disturbance or trauma from events in the recent or distant past. Before becoming a psychotherapist, Dianah worked as an assistant professor of French Studies at the UW, and as a French/English professor at West Sound.
