In working with me, you will find a space that is open and welcoming, respecting the expansiveness and fluidity of gender and sexuality. I seek to provide a space for you to feel relief from the feelings of anxiety and restlessness, a space to feel grounded and connected. I am eclectic in how I practice, believing that elements of different treatment styles are appropriate at different times in one’s treatment. My practice is strongly informed by my background in mindfulness meditation. Having maintained my own mindfulness practice for over 10 years, I have personally experienced the power of going inward, getting below the mental ‘chatter’, and exploring the depth of self. I am currently in the Advanced year of a 3 year training program at the Somatic Experiencing® Trauma Institute to become a certified Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner.
