Therapist Overview
Family therapy is generally brief, solution-focused, specific with attainable therapeutic goals and designed with the “end in mind.” MFT’s regularly practice short-term therapy, 12 sessions on average. They treat a wide range of clinical problems including: depression, marital problems, anxiety, individual psychological problems and parent-child problems. Many people tell me that they feel comfortable talking to me, and they like the fact that I don’t “just sit there say nothing.” I feel that problems often are organized within our words and that conversations with a therapist can open up new solutions and lead to growth.
