Therapist Overview

As an individual or the parent of a tween, teen, or young adult who is struggling, you may find yourself wondering what you can do to help make things better. My strength is in helping tweens, teens, and young adults find effective ways to manage anxiety and depression and get their lives back on track. Especially during this tenuous, stressful time involving so many adjustments and transitions, therapy can provide a calming, consistent space to process and make sense of one’s experience and place in the world. Using cognitive-behavioral and compassion-focused interventions, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to express what’s going on and identify ways to move forward. Understanding anxiety and depression, increasing self-awareness, and developing adaptive strategies is empowering and often leads to meaningful change. I’d love to speak with you about your concerns and to see if we could be a good fit. Please contact me for a free phone consultation.
