Therapist Overview

Counseling is a journey that begins with presenting issues and evolves into self-expression, service, and purposeful, ethical living. I support my clients’ personal growth and self-awareness, working with individuals, couples, children and adolescents, and families. I help my clients to reduce anxiety and depression and other mental health conditions, and to recognize their part(s) and creative power in the systems they participate in: couple, family of origin, chosen family, work, religious, and societal. I have 35 years of practice in a body/mind/spirit psychotherapy called Psychosynthesis, and certification in Laban Movement Analysis. I help clients enhance nonverbal skills. I have enjoyed 5 decades as a collegiate dance educator and choreographer, 40 years of meditation, 26 years of marriage, and 22 years parenting our three daughters, now 15, 19, and 22. My dance work includes 30 years working with special needs children and teens- search “shared ability dance” on YouTube for some
