Therapist Overview
At this time I am not taking new clients. I work collaboratively with people on a wide range of issues and symptoms to access self compassion, increase coping skills and tools and to foster clarity and empowerment. Some of the issues and symptoms include: anxiety; range of mood disorders; domestic abuse; PTSD; effects of trauma, neglect and psychological mistreatment; grief; life crises/transitions; affirmation of gender identity (including GNC) and sexual orientation; and addiction including its effects on family members. Depending on what works best for each person I will choose from a variety of theoretical frameworks such as CBT, insight/psychodynamic, behavioral relaxation, attachment theory, strengths based, EMDR, and DBT.
