Beth Rossi Counseling

I have been working in social services since 2006, serving varied populations. I worked as an Addictions Counselor in residential settings while attending Portland State University where I received my graduate degree in social work. I love working from a systems perspective, while also encouraging clients to pursue their own individual health and self-care needs. My experience as a medical social worker in the area’s larger integrated healthcare systems allows me the ability to assist clients to advocate for their own wellness needs within and outside their personal systems of support. I enjoy working with teens, adults, and families, with a focus on the importance of interdependence and communication. My collaborations with adult individuals is supported by challenging social constructions. I use a solution focused approach with behavioral, narrative and mindfulness interventions to support client treatment goals.
