When people think of a counseling session, they may think of a couch in a private office with hundreds of books on the wall. To some people that is comforting, for others it is intimidating. At Unbridled Changes we offer a unique approach to counseling in the middle of Natural Tennessee countryside, with plenty of trees, a creek, and horses. I will partner with you to grow, heal, and overcome the challenges life tends to throw your way. I am an EAGALA certified mental health professional ready to partner with you on your journey to becoming a more authentic version of yourself. With a background and education in expressive arts, play therapy, and sand tray therapies, I have a creative perspective towards counseling. I believe you can achieve more healing when more parts of your brain are engaged in session. Equine therapy allows you to use not only your memory and words, but sight, hearing and smell for a complete experience. Counseling sessions are primarily Equine but can be scheduled as a walk and talk session on the farm per request. As horses are prey animals in the wild, they are acutely in tune with human emotions. This partnership with the horses helps people, just like you, recognize and work through their challenges in a different way than traditional counseling.
