I am a firm believer that individuals naturally seek self-fulfillment and have inherent strengths that when fostered can help them reach their goals. My interests include treatment of PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Additionally, I have helped individuals through challenging periods of adjustment, such as job transitions, ending a romantic relationship, pregnancy, and returning to school and have several years experience providing therapy. As an individual that identifies as biracial and is part of the LGBTQ community, I bring a unique perspective to therapy and welcome discussions of diversity. My approach to therapy includes client centered therapy interventions in addition to cognitive behavioral therapy interventions and other evidenced based practices. Additionally, I have specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence-based treatment for PTSD.
