Therapist Overview
I love working with adolescents, college age/young adults, and adults. At times, school, home life, and transitions to college or living on your own can be tough to navigate. Life can become overwhelming and we lose insight into our abilities to problem solve, stay organized, and cope with stress, anxiety, or depression. I want to work with you to improve your executive functioning skills, find and use your strengths, increase your self-esteem, re-develop and create new coping strategies, and utilize the resources and connections in your community so you feel supported and in control. My approach is systemic and strength based with a solution-focused perspective. I will work with you to create realistic reachable goals and enable you to create positive change in your life. Often truly discovering your strengths and learning how to use them to help you succeed is empowering and motivating. Let’s work one on one and within your community to reach your goals and allow you to thrive. Taking that first step may be difficult but it’s well worth it in the end. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
