Therapist Overview

Spending time Outdoors has been empirically shown to benefit both mental and physical health; as such, Walk & Talk is a Nature Based approach to therapy. Many individuals I have helped have enjoyed spending some or all of our sessions outdoors, in nature, while we discuss specific skills to manage anxiety; trauma, depression & adjusting to life’s transitions. These skills and support can prove helpful whether meeting virtually or in person. I strive to create a environment that encourages openness and vulnerability and place high value in a strong, working therapeutic relationship. My approach is grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Difficulties addressed in my practice include, but are not limited to, anxiety; depression; grief and loss; relationship problems; trauma. I have special interest in working with police officers and firefighters. I am a licensed clinical psychologist, nature enthusiast, and artist. The modalities in which I work are born from my passion for the outdoor
