Therapist Overview
“Everyone needs support”. As a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist, I have worked with plenty of individuals, couples, and families who seek support in managing their current stressors. I believe in a strength-based approach and focus on helping others understand that they have the capability to be successful in their goals. My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe space for individuals, couples and families to talk about their most vulnerable moments and work through growth and acceptance in their experiences. When working with individuals, couples, and families, I often use an integrative approach when working with my clients. “Therapy is not a cookie cutter sort of experience”, I believe in adjusting my approaches in order to meet client’s needs. Some approaches I used when working with clients include EMDR, EFT, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and Attachment-based. I work with individuals, couples, and families. I have experience working in a variety of communities, and I embrace diverse abilities, gender expression, and relationships, as well as people from varying cultural, economic, and ethnic backgrounds.
