Therapist Overview

I work with people who want something more from their lives and have not yet found a pathway to that something. It is powerful to work together to understand how our past relationships affect our current view of the world, and how this view can change and brighten and expand to increase our capacity for joy and fulfillment. Sharing pain and sorrow, understanding how emotions affect our thinking and welcoming our very humanness is healing. I work with families, couples and individuals to realize a more reflective life and to build and strengthen relationships. After graduating from UVA, I received an MSW from VCU. I interned at the Mary Ainsworth Attachment Center which informs my work with individuals and families who have experienced early trauma, abuse and neglect.
