Therapist Overview
Asking for help can be intimidating. I am compassionate, nonjudgmental and supportive as you take this brave step toward change and self-improvement. Using an eclectic and flexible approach to therapy, I can help guide you on your path to achieving a greater life balance and overall wellness. I treat depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, substance abuse and work-related stress. Since 2006, I have primarily worked with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, and substance abuse issues. I am Dialectical Behavioral Therapy-informed through training and experience I received working at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT. I have been in private practice in Darien since 2015. I practice mindfulness daily and love teaching it to my clients. Becoming more aware of the present moment can create a sense of peace and calm as you explore your readiness to change.
