Therapist Overview

( English | ) I have made it my goal to help others not only feel heard, but empowered. I am a pre-licensed creative art therapist under the supervision of Dr. Jan Roberts LCSW. As a pre-licensed therapist with the Center for Empowering Women, I want to create a safe space where you can reflect on both intrinsic and extrinsic processes. Through both talk and art therapy, I implement different theories and techniques to create individual therapeutic experiences. My goal is to help others build skills to not only cope with daily life, but to enjoy it. I have experience. I have experience providing therapy for depression, stress, anxiety and self-esteem. Do you need to talk through the current political/social climate? Are you in need of new coping skills to help alleviate daily anxiety and stress? Or do you just need to feel heard in an environment where it feels like no one is listening? I invite you to join me in a safe space where we can dissect and reflect. From the outside looking in, you seem happy. You appear charming, capable, confident and well put together. You have no problem functioning within your day to day routine, and no one would guess what was happening to you internally. Inside you feel anxious, depressed, dissatisfied and plain old lost. Perhaps you feel like your not where you want to be in life, or you no longer feel excited or passionate about life and all its twist and turns. Whatever the cause may be, you know your not centered and you strive to feel whole again. You want to evolve into the person you always knew you were meant to be. I can help you alleviate all of the obstacles you see in front of you by strengthening your most important relationship, the one you have with yourself. We will address challenges related to self-talk/ self-esteem, work, relationships and acceptance of ones self and the world around them. As a biracial woman I am attune to assist marginalized populations. You do not have to do it alone. Contact me to begin your path to healing. I will meet each individual at their own level. I would be happy to assist you in your journey towards complete wellness.
