Who I Serve

My aim is to provide a safe and welcoming environment where people can come and show up as they are. I meet my clients with acceptance and a non judgmental stance so that we can have an open and honest therapeutic relationship. I believe that it takes an enormous amount of courage to be vulnerable and share our stories, particularly the ones that elicit distress (i.e. shame, guilt, sadness, anxiety, rage). I am honored to come alongside others as they work towards being the best version of themselves. My approach is balanced with candidness, humor, compassion, and an easy manner. I believe that people are the experts on themselves and are trying their best with the resources (coping strategies, perceived self view, supports from others) they have. My goal is not to tell clients how to live their lives, but rather to support them as they strive to live lives according to their values. Reaching out and making that first call can be very hard.
