Therapist Overview
Not everyone needs a therapist, but EVERYONE needs someone that they can speak to openly and honestly without judgment. Unfortunately, not everyone has someone like this in their life that they can trust completely. Problems are only as big as our ability or inability to deal with them. By instilling confidence in one’s self and learning to draw boundaries with others and their influences on us, I believe that each person has the skills they need to help themselves. My goal is to simply help each individual to develop and cultivate these skills in order to make the changes they desire to see in their own lives. As a graduate of Liberty University, I believe spirituality is important in therapy, but this means spirituality in the way the client defines it, not based on personal opinion. Additionally, as a former Sergeant and Chaplain’s Assistant in the United States’ Army, I enjoy supporting and providing services to veterans and their families. Therapy should not last a lifetime.
