As I work with clients, I strive to discover and explore the uniqueness of each individual’s internal and external environment. As this process unfolds, my hope is that you begin to feel comfortable to share your story with me. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families who may be experiencing a issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and/or loss, relationship issues, men’s/women’s issues, life transitions, attachment issues, diminished self-esteem, living with chronic illness, and other challenges. My practice style is eclectic and integrative. Depending on the needs of each client, I incorporate elements of humanism, mindfulness, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral interventions. I am a trained practitioner of Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), an effective treatment intervention to address many issues, including trauma. In addition to my private practice, I work with Oakland University as a Clinical Supervisor in the Counseling Program, an
