Vanessa Navarrete

I’m a faith-based counselor specializing in working with children, couples, and families. I’ve always had a passion working with children. I’ve worked with childhood and developmental disorders such as autism, attachment disorder, ADHD/ADD, Conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, separation anxiety disorder, and social communication disorder. As a therapist I build up expertise in how young children communicate and how each child operates within the setting. But it is the parent who knows their child best, and unless there is a sharing of information between therapist and parents, a child’s emotional needs will be neither fully understood nor, ultimately, met.
