Therapist Overview
I have an innate desire to help people understand their strengths, as well as their weaknesses, so that they can live their best lives. After graduating from Boston College’s School of Clinical Social Work I began working as an outpatient therapist for Sollars & Associates, a family mental health practice in the Metro Detroit area. My strengths lie with client assessment, counseling and treatment planning, with particular focus in interpersonal and family dynamics. My other interests include building social and community networks and spending time with my dog, Ferguson. As a Clinical Social Worker, I have learned effective strategies in helping people cope with an array of personal and professional issues. In addition, I have mentored youth and adults with various intellectual disabilities in residential and employment setting families, creating a supportive and nurturing environment.
