Therapist Overview

Parenting can be tough, and I’m here to help. Maybe your toddler can’t stop his tantrums, your third-grader refuses to go to school, or your teen is struggling with coming out as transgender. You’re not sure how your divorce is affecting your kids, and you’re worried about them. Or your child is adopted and you work hard to feel connected, work hard to help when she’s out of control. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and a play therapist, I’m here to provide therapy to heal families in a collaborative, caring, and confidential relationship. I have advanced training in play therapy and parent-child therapy for caregivers and their infants or young children. This type of early intervention, in therapy or Circle of Security Parent Training, helps caregivers understand and respond to their children in ways that enhance development and regulate emotions and behaviors. Not sure your child needs therapy? Give me a call and we can talk about your concerns and what next steps you might take,
