Therapist Overview

I wholeheartedly believe that people get better in the contexts of relationships. I am a caring, attuned, and enthusiastic therapist, passionate about working with families, couples, and individuals. Therapy is an opportunity to make meaningful changes in our lives, and more meaningfully understand ourselves and our loved ones. Meaningful therapy is the opportunity to explore what has not been said. My aim as a therapist to support individuals in bringing clarity to all relationships, and strengthening relationships clients choose. Much of my training has been with individuals and families coping with addiction and problematic substance use. I have been fully trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I identify as an LGBTQI affirming therapist and adopt an anti oppression/ anti racist stance in my work. I am Faculty at the Ackerman Institute. COVID 19 Update: During this current crisis, I am seeing all my clients via secure video platforms or phone.
