Being a former Chicago Police Officer for 13 years, I can relate and understand the unique needs of first responders as it relates to trauma, crisis, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, job-related stress, suicide, etc. and how there are concerns about engaging in therapy services and protecting your job. I ensure that you will have privacy and confidentiality. We offer individual therapy, crisis intervention training, individual critical incident debriefing, EMDR, CBT, and trauma based therapies. We also train police and fire departments on CIT, Peer support, autism spectrum disorders, mental illness and stress management. All psychologists at FRWC are former law enforcement. We offer full psychological services to support law enforcement, dispatch, departments of public safety, corrections, and Fire/EMS departments.
