I value relationships. In my office at Southeast Maternal Medical I continue to encourage the breastfeeding relationships that I encouraged as a La Leche League Leader over 30 years ago. I believe in the strong parental bonds that begin in pregnancy and develop through infancy, early childhood, childhood, adolescence and into adulthood. I am rostered with MUSC Project Best in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and I am certified in Triple P Parenting. I have worked with children of all ages over the past 25 years and I have worked with their parents to build stronger relationships. I now work primarily with adults. I was previously employed by Waccamaw Center for Mental Health My background working with First Steps and Head Start have given me insight into the stages of early childhood development.
