I became a professional counselor due to my personal experiences with overcoming difficult life situations, realizing that people can heal, grow, change and become more productive; once a person realize a need to live differently, take ownership and responsibility for changing their lives. In my professional and private life, I demonstrate intellectual curiosity, including seeking new information, strategies and perspectives, and thinking critically. I act in a prompt, prepared, and organized manner, following through with my commitments and responsibilities, presenting myself in a approachable professional manner in all settings. I respect and affirm differences in people. In additional to individual, family and group counseling, I specialize in counseling/educating domestic violence offenders, certified to assess and treat sex offenders, specialize in providing services for GLHTQ clients, and offer substance abuse counseling/therapy. My special factors include being a certified fitne
