I am a clinician to first responders. It is my objective to support the quality of life, relationships and careers of those who dedicate their lives to the service of their community. It is my view that a hero’s career should not cost them their life or family and that of equal importance their life and family should not negatively impact their career. I am highly trained and specialized within the field of trauma, addiction, EMDR, Critical Incident Stress Management, Crisis Response and Brief Strategic Therapy. I work with couples using a Gottman approach which is known for being behavioral rather than just refereed communication. I work in a group practice that serves only first responders, their agencies and families. This means that the environment is safe, direct and free from the typical “therapisty” environment that tends to make the warrior population uncomfortable with therapy.
