Therapist Overview
I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor trained in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Formerly trained in environmental science, education and health, I recognize the connection between the natural world and human well being. I believe that animals play an important role in maintaining this connection. I have had a long-time dream of helping others experience this healing bond. I am thrilled to offer clients unique, effective, confidential, Traditional and/or Equine Assisted Psychotherapy sessions in a private, natural setting. You may participate in individual, group or family sessions. Horses are naturally willing and able to interact with people, mirror our feelings and behavior, and give instant feedback. This allows us to observe ourselves in the moment, gain more insight and to make adjustments in our behavior.
