Therapist Overview

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist, and I believe that providing a safe and supportive environment fosters alliance and trust within the therapeutic relationship. My goal as a therapist is to help my clients achieve their goals whether that includes easing symptoms of depression or anxiety, working through difficult issues (current or past), increasing coping skills, increasing self-esteem, and/or identifying what’s next in life. My style of therapy is to focus on the client as a whole person living in a system that includes the people (family, friends, coworkers) around them as well as the environment in which they live, while also incorporating therapeutic techniques specifically tailored to each individual. I have extensive experience working with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, substance-related issues, and hallucinations and/or delusions. My previous work experience includes both mental health and substance abuse programs at a residential treatment
