Therapist Overview

Change – whether it is personal, professional, environmental – is the one constant in everyone’s life and also the one thing we fear most. It is even more difficult adapting to change that is forced upon us. We often feel alone, vulnerable and unmoored in these moments of transition. As a therapist, I want to assist my clients in tapping into their inner wellspring of resilience and guide them through these challenging life phases; I have experience working with a variety of individuals /concerns/issues, such as LGBTQIA+, veterans, couples, anxiety, depression, stage of life transition and those struggling with identity issues. Pema Chodron once said “nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know.” I approach psychotherapy as an alliance. We are partners in your journey of self discovery, reframing obstacles into lessons that help you live the most authentic life you can. It takes courage to admit that life’s burdens are sometimes too hard to bear alone. Opening up in therapy is an act of courage, strength and self love. It would be my privilege to guide you on your journey.
