I’m not taking new clients now, but I work with clients who have the motivation and the capacity to resolve their own problems with my assistance. I believe everyone has an inner capacity to achieve happiness and well being in their lives. Building on this belief my approach to counseling is strength based and solution focused. As the client seeking assistance, you set the goals you wish to achieve and my role is to support you and help you develop the skills and resources you need to overcome obstacles to reaching your goals. The counseling experience is different for everyone. Some clients may need only a few sessions, while others may need longer. You determine your goals and participation. Together we work towards your goals until you feel confident you have the skills to face life’s challenges without my support or intervention. I am not taking any new clients at this time but I am happy to provide a referral.
