Seeking out counseling can be intimidating for a variety of reasons. I strive to ease the anxiety surrounding this process by establishing a solid therapeutic relationship with each of my clients from the very beginning. By using approaches that promote an environment of safety and trust, I hope to help destigmatize the idea of “going to counseling” and foster healing through these relationships. Each session is tailored to meet each client’s specific needs. My passion lies in working with college students, women and girls of all ages experiencing various life transitions. I work from a strengths-based approach to help clients identify and strengthen certain skill sets, as well as recognize those they already possess, in order to process and work through issues. My clinical experience includes working with female college students to address a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, women’s issues, self-compassion, family and relationship conflicts, adjustment issues and more. In addition, I have experience and enjoy exploring the unique needs of children and adolescents.
